Science & Technology
Prempeh won the maiden contest in 1994, then returned as champions in 1996, 2015, 2017, and 2021. The fifth title came after defeating Presbyterian Boys’ and Keta SHTS in the final. No school from the Ashanti Region has more.
Prempeh became the first secondary school in Africa to win the Robofest World Championship in 2016 and received the Toyota Innovation Award that year.
Robotics
In 2016 the college became the first secondary school in Africa to win the Robofest World Championship. The team has kept returning to the United States, adding the 2024 UMC title to the record.
